Dec. 12th, 2017 07:42 pmBat Cat is still AWOL. Which may be the correct term, given that he still seems to think of himself as a member of the foreign legion but argh. Bat Cat come home you're freaking your mommy out.
Other than that I'm mostly doing fine? Work is chaos, but that's Christmas in retail for you, and I'm able to manage the chaos. Actually in my case it's a combination of Christmas in retail and bad weather and half the family living on the side of a mountain, because we're not sure who's going to make it into town when and everyone's usual schedules are all gone sideways.
I did not get half of what I wanted to get done today done, partly because of the aforementioned work chaos and then when I got home because of election returns, and I have no idea if I'm going to make it to class tomorrow because I have no idea when I'm going to get out of the store. But I guess if I'm very lucky (and smart, and go to bed on time) I can get in my practice anyway and get my work done. Especially the edits I need to do and finish probably tomorrow so I can send this story off for submission and have that done.
I don't feel much of anything right now except exhausted. I'm sure that'll change in the morning, but right now I'm just tired and sad about my cold feral kitty.
