Oct. 9th, 2014 03:52 pmYeah, I picked up the Dothraki course. What? Stop looking at me like that, you knew I was going to do it, and if you didn't, how well do you know me, really.
(That's kind of a serious question, but without the usually implicit GTFO. If you do not know me well enough to know that I was totally going to give in and learn Dothraki because languages are fun and my will is weak, well, now you know that about me.)
Oof. It's getting on towards SAFF time, which means running around pulling together stock to pack and load up and send over. The good part is that this show is actually in town, which means just loading it up in cars and hauling it over and maybe renting a van. The bad part is I was handed the list of things to pack for the show yesterday or the day before, and the show is the weekend of the 25th-26th. Sigh. And the good part again is there's somewhat less to pack than there is for Maryland; less booth space.
I'm about to fall asleep at my desk at work, this probably isn't good.
I think my goals for tonight are to get more words written, maybe get to a finish point on White Lightning (I can barely remember what my last three scenes were, other than the tension with the supremacists comes to a head), and then take all the notes ever on my immunology course and try to get those written up in orderly form in a notebook over the weekend. Yes. The first part tonight, that is. The second part over the weekend, probably Sunday.
I slept like crap last night and now I am really feeling it and ugh. It's a Hamlet kind of a day. Except I'm getting more done than Hamlet ever did. Nyah.
Word Count: Hey look, I remembered.
