Okay! I think I've figured out why the wild lenition keeps appearing. Fucking mutations, I swear to god.

One thing I forgot to mention yesterday was that I did get a chance to see Agents of SHIELD. I enjoyed it? I'm not sure I'll be making a special effort to watch it, but it was all right. For a show that hyped up I'm not sure it was worth all that hype, though. I'm pretty sure the thing got more buzz and media than some movies. I think it could have done with less Coulson and more development on everyone else, even if it is blasphemy to say so, the women were almost all interchangeable with the same face, haircut, and clothing style apart from the scientist, and even she had a similar look. Ming Na was distinct from the pack, at least? The alleged secondary lead apart from Coulson, who seems to be the lead, was... well, as a friend of mine put it, yo dawg we heard you like white bread so we put some white bread in your white bread. Could he possibly get more generic? Well, it's possible, but I'm not sure how. Nobody got significant characterization to distinguish them from look + Scientist, look + agent, look + outlaw hacker. I do disagree with what seems to be the growing opinion that J August Richards should have been the lead and Agent Generic McBlandson the decoy lead. Despite the fact that he's a) a POC b) played by J August Richards and c) Economically sympathetic, he also put quite a few people in the hospital and went way off the rails. Despite the fact that our heroes are an organization that does black bagging and renditions, they're at least nominally supposed to be the good guys. And wossname (no, I don't remember his name either) did a few too many showy, bad things under the influence of the superjuice to qualify.

...Maybe the most telling thing is I don't have any spoilery things to say about it. Though I still maintain that Lola used to be Howard Stark's car.

So tired. Not even sleepy, just tired. Don't want to go in to work. Want to stay home and get the fifty billion writing things I have to get done. That I'm not going to get to do tonight because podcast recording. I appreciate it, but I'm mildly annoyed at losing the entire night to it. On the other hand, I suppose I can take handwritten notes while I talk. I also need to figure out what the hell I'm doing today. Apart from Black Ice, which might be it. Black Ice and maybe some more of that dime novel. Ugh, I really do want a day off from work during the week so I can catch up on all this writing shit. Alas.

Adopt one today! Adopt one today!

I can live with catching some sleep myself, but reading/writing time would be lovely. Ha. Ha.

I'll possibly poke at AoS after I clear at least a couple of more eps of Grimm. Which hasn't happened in a while, because WORK. But. :)
