Oh Irish. Why are you so weird. I mean, as always, weird is relative and in this case means "structured in a way I'm not used to." Thus, oh Irish (language), why are you so weird.
Also it is ridiculously humid out, and somehow I can't seem to connect to the weather website. The fuck is up with this morning.
Of course it's all fun and games until I get in to work and it's chaos and noise. And yet somehow? Still managed to get out today's Gods and Monsters on time. Or, well, I will because it's all in and scheduled now. Because who's awesome? I'm awesome. So, yes, that's that done, and I picked up the ridiculous number of fixtures and hooks and tools and things we inherited from Grandpa this morning, along with what might be a couple hundred feet of phone cable for my new Tetsuo arm. Along with yardage of fabric for Tetsuo's cape cloak thingie, yardage of nylon webbing for Huntress's belt and clips to go with, and more tailor's chalk because apparently I don't have any anymore. Or if I do it's hiding very well, since I just dug through most of my craft boxes. I say dug through rather than cleaned out because I didn't sort it very well, but I still would have remembered tailor's chalk, it goes in the portable kit.
So, yes, my brain is still churning along with the "make ALL the costumes!" tangent. But on the plus side my pants are hemmed and all my immediate writing deadlines are taken care of, which gives me some time to do some of that costuming when I'm not at work. Or, depending on what the costume bits are, even when I am at work. We'll see.
Why no, I'm not excited about Dragon*Con at all. Why would you say that. Oh! Tonks is also going to be at Dragon*Con. Just in case anyone wanted to know that. I gotta go calm my brain down from squee mode into organize things mode.
