Goddammit, Tom Hiddleston, you stop being deathly adorable. Stop it right now!

The bastard is pushing my buttons. Many of them. At once. This morning I woke up to a youtube video of him and several others (I was, I have to admit, distracted by the awesome Judi Dench) practicing a waltz for a miniseries and my attention was instantly captured, not by his ass in jeans as apparently everyone else in tumblr was staring at, but by the set of his shoulders and his tall, graceful posture. And then it stuck in my head for the next two hours. Physicality is a thing for me, what? I can also totally believe the flamenco now, he does move like someone who's been trained in dance or martial arts or something. That plus the whole literature and history geeking thing and languages and dammit, Hiddleston, why so appealing and hot? I want one.

I need to figure out usage exercises for Japanese. So far it's just been form review which, while useful, isn't terribly likely to stick. And then I need to remember to do my German and, argh. Something to ponder for today's check-in. Or maybe I just need to move on to the next grammar point. Japanese, that is.

Still need to remember to actually make my sentences before I practice them, but at least there's some of that done. Maybe one or two more days tripping over my own feet on this part, and then the next grammar point that stuck me.

So, I have now seen the whole Cranford thing. And Tom Hiddleston is going to be the death of me. Good christ. About the only thing I haven't seen him do that pushes my buttons so far is ride a horse well. Which is to say, I've seen him ride a horse, but Bruce does it better. Which now makes me want to watch Bruce Boxleitner on a horse. Damn you, brain. You should be working on writing and not drooling over men with good dancing posture and good horseback riding skills. I've already caved and made Fassbender a character in the story, I am not working Hiddleston in any more than he already is.

Although I still kind of want to do something with that pointless Loki vs the Mary Sue fic I wrote. Although I'm not sure if she is a Mary Sue considering I doubt she'll be able to talk Loki out of anything and he scares the crap out of her.

Right. Um. Writing, and then putting the day away for now.
