Анна поступала в аспирантуру, но не поступила. Anna applied to graduate school but did not enroll (get in).
Анна и Вадим долго решали, что делать, и наконец решили. Anna and Vadim considered what to do for a long time, and finally decided.

Choose the right verbs to complete the paragraph.
Вчера вечером я смотрела телевизор. Я посмотрела одну передачу, а потом пошла в центр. Там я долго решала, что делать. Наконец я решила пойти в кафе. Там сидели мои друзья Соня и Костя. Раньше мы часто обедали вместе, а теперь мы редко видим друг друга. Мы долго обедали в кафе, спосили друг друга об университете и о работе и рассказывали о семьях. Когда мы обо всём рассказали, мы сказали «до свидания» и пошли домой. Я очень поздно пришла домой.

And I think I may have swapped рассказывать/рассказать, but I'm uncertain enough about this whole damn thing still that I'm leaving it as is.

Oogh. Tired now, which is entirely my own damn fault on account of staying up a little too late and watching Boston Legal last night. On the plus side, did get a fair bit of writing done.

Today is for-certain going over takedown and setup day. Which means not being around much during the day, but if it's as quiet today as it was yesterday that won't be too hard. Somehow I need to figure out a way to stay awake, too. Fruits and things to keep my blood sugar going. Something. Oogh. Maybe tonight after my shows I'll just curl up with Night Watch and finish that off.

Blah. The next part involves nouns and things in the past tense, so. That can wait till tomorrow.

Break down and set up rehearsal went okay. It's pretty much like screwing set pieces together. The trick will be deciphering 30 years of code to figure out which pieces go where, and which is top and which is bottom and so on. But it's fabric stretched over wood, and then it bolts together. Not too difficult.

At least, assuming I get more sleep the night before than I did last night. Or something. I really, really need to start going to bed earlier, and I need to start tonight. This shit's ridiculous, especially gearing up for a show. On the plus side, itinerary for Wisconsin wedding trip thing is pretty well figured out, all clicked in, the only thing I don't have finalized and reserved is the shit that I don't know for certain when we'll be getting in, so. Yay! You might even mistake me for a responsible adult. ... Nah.

And the new iPod Touch comes tomorrow. This one, at least, I know to be more careful with it, and I know how, and ... I don't even know how long the last one lasted me, but it was a while and it was at least a year or so old before that. So that's not so bad. Trying to think of what to name it, since 'pocket ninja' is already taken. Thinking about iSis. You may all groan now. But no throwing things.

Oof. I actually did forget about TV shows tonight. Not sure how much I'm going to be watching since I'm going to try to be writing and then going-to-bed-ing. But we'll see. Definitely looking forward to Friday. Even more looking forward to The Losers. Mmmmm gratuitous violence and explosions and hot people and snark.

... Come to think of it, I thought I had more to say here, but I don't. Still haven't gotten to downloading any more Prison Break, goddammit, but if there's a set of DVDs at the used bookstore on Friday they will be mine oh yes they will be fucking mine. Rraaaarrl And yes, the lack of punctuation is required.
