(no subject)
Mar. 17th, 2010 09:26 amEverybody in my head needs to shut the hell up. Especially the people who are a) dead, b) have loved ones in danger, c) have loved ones who are dead, d) any combination of the above.
Ugh. I have no focus for Russian whatsoever. Or, no focus at all, really. This is going to be a fun day.
Ask where the following people will be tomorrow.
Apparently that's all I have brain for today, as I kept getting fucking distracted. This irritates me. Actually, most things irritate me this morning. Not sure why. Irritated and maudlin. And I keep thinking about those stupid characters who are dead or have loved ones who are dead and in danger and that has to be contributing. … and you know what just occurred to me doesn't help, having a dream about a friend who sees my website on the Arcana and being all 'yeah, I showed it to my professor, he thinks you should publish it and he's willing to look it over' and waking up and, no. Just a dream. On the plus side, I got two big things off my plate?
Right. Things that amuse me today, in no particular order, for the sake of cheering myself up:
1. Human Target. Full stop. Okay, maybe amuse isn't the right word, but good lord it's engrossing. I want it to be next Wednesday already!
2. I just loaded all my novels, all of them, even the craptastic ones, onto a data chip. And all my works in progress. A CHIP. I am living in the future!
3. I'm painting my nails two wildly contrasting shades of green. Shut up.
4. Mostly nekkid slightly crazy Jackie Earle Haley. Or Rorschach!Haley.
5. Eve and Chance. Even if they also irritate me.
6. Going back over old works, even if it's probably going to make me cringe at how bad my writing was. At least I've improved. I hope.
7. Working on Long Road. This is the first time I've ever enjoyed a novel this much, I think. Or at least, enjoyed it and felt it turned out this well.
8. My laptop is lighter than my Japanese textbook. HELLLOOOOOOO FUTURE! IT'S LOVELY TO SEE YOU! Where's my damn hovercar.
