Woke up, got out of bed, dragged a comb across my head. After nine hours of sleep I feel somewhat better about my writing and my prospects and things like that. Not so sanguine, but at least not so damn depressed. I also did a fair amount of exercise this morning, which I didn't manage to do yesterday, which might have contributed. I'd say I need to be more conscientious about going to bed on time except it wasn't the going to bed on time that tripped me up, it was the not being able to stay asleep. Bloody hell.
It is entirely possible I will have a spinning class tonight, if the weather isn't inclement! No, not spinning on a stationary bicycle you crazy people, spinning in the actual sense of the word, as in with wool and a wheel and such. You know, what spinning used to be before the gyms got ahold of the word. Yes, that bugs me, if only on a mental level of "wait, spinning? at the gym? what are you blathering about? can't you just call that biking on a stationary bike? arrgh." Anyway, so, yes. Spinning! And the learning how. Which is nice because the spinning wheels are always set up so I can randomly practice. Yay!
