Russian. Blargh. Still having random attacks of the dizzies. At least they're not as bad as they have been.

More genitive plural. And then genitive plural review. And a lot of it, the rest of the week. Ugh.

There are some words you generally see only in the plural. Here are there genitive plural forms.

And German done. And I'm floundering more and more. This may require some review. Good thing I'm at the end of this chapter.

So, the update from today's doctor's visit from the boy is a third diagnosis: compressed disc. First it's carpal tunnel, then it's a something-ed ulnar nerve, and now it's a compressed disc? I swear he's going to Doctor House.

Well, no. If he were going to House he would have already gotten a couple invasive tests and/or procedures and be at death's door.

They're sending him to a specialist on Friday and they want to schedule an MRI, which may be why the specialist. I'm actually not grumbling about the MRI, I like the idea, it's a good diagnostic tool, hopefully the boy doesn't have the kind of tattoo that makes MRI machines go crazy. Or is it a CT scan. I forget. It's one of those scans that the aunt had and they asked her if she had any tattoos, because apparently some kinds of tattoos can make the machines go haywire. I'm not sure what's going on.

I guess we'll find out more information on Friday. Maybe later int he day. The good news, apparently, is that most days it's an irritating dull ache that's bad, but not too bad. The worrying part is that it might be some kind of damage that would be better to catch earlier than later. But there isn't much we can do other than wait, get him shuffled between doctor and doctor, and see what we can see.

Still irritated.

On the plus side, writing is going almost on time. And since for me, on time means apparently two months early (I'm aiming to have my [livejournal.com profile] apocabigbang stories done by the end of the month. They're due in March. I'd forgotten about that), I should have plenty of time if I choose to to stuff everyone's stockings this weekend, catch up on prompts, and then fuss over novels. Also, I've started picking up my Japanese at work again. So far so good?
