Jan. 3rd, 2009 12:01 pmGerman! The German I didn't get done yesterday. Aheh. Ooops. (This past week has had my schedule all borked.)
( Behind the cut )
I need to get better disciplined about my German when I get home from work. Yes, this past week's schedule was a bit borked, what with the boy getting off early one day and being home the next and therefore me not having the time to myself I usually do and that throwing me off and any number of other excuses, but this coming week will be normal, and I need to get into those habits
That said, both German and Russian are coming along decently. Somewhere in there I need to fold in re-learning the French and Spanish. Or rather, practicing, since every time I pick up a book or a movie in those languages I'm surprised at how easily it comes. It's just organizing it in my head and speaking it that I get tripped over, every time I stop to think about it. I can speak it fine if I'm not thinking about it, and then I stop to search for a word and it all goes tumbling down.
Either that or I start saying something in one language and lapse completely into another. At least German and Russian are different enough that I won't have that problem. Oi.
Right. Exercise, tidying, etcetera. Like a good baby courtesan. Christ, when did it get to be 2 already.
