Ahhh, lunch. Also known as, leftovers. I may, since I'm doing the dinner cooking for me and the boy now, start trying to stash away one or two meals worth of dinner as sort of an anti-leftovers thing. Because there isn't always as much leftovers as I'd like, nor as regularly as I'd like.

And dinner tends to be really tasty things like chicken teriyaki and curry and black pepper beef. Mmm.

Okay, so. Breaking Dawn occurred, and this means very little to me since I haven't read the books and the only reason I would is out of sheer curiosity. From everything I've heard my opinion ranges from insipid crap (on a cranky day) to not my cuppa (on a normal day). However, I have seen almost as much anti-Twilight stuff as I've seen pro-Twilight stuff around, and... I had a point here, but now I'm not sure what it is. I think just that a lot of the commercial adverts I've seen tout it as the next Harry Potter, and it just isn't. Whether or not you liked the Harry Potter fandom, most of the people who read the books liked them. With Twilight, the response seems to be about fifty fifty. And I do wonder what the correlation is between intelligence/lifestyle/education level and ... no, that's not right. Hmm. Let's see.

Intelligent/highly educated/way over educated people are, in my experience, more likely to find deeper meanings in or analyze a book. I do it myself, these days. And it seems like Twilight isn't the kind of series to stand up to much scrutiny of deeper meanings. So I wonder what the correlation is between people who do that, and people who don't like the book.

Anyway.

Oogh. Tired. Weekend was fun. My family remains crazy. My mother remains a bit spastic, a lot adorable, and generally sort of flaily. My aunt R is doing well, which is good; I haven't seen her in a while. She's here at the store helping out and working on stuff of her own, so, yay. She also brought the Spanish textbooks so I can edumacate the boy.

... I had a nom but I eated it. Back to work now, I suppose.

ETA: Must remember to watch Invader Zim tonight. Tonight is an Invader Zim night. Mostly because a little voice in the back of my head just went "So very alive! And full of goo..."

Some of you may remember that thing where I said I would have inventory for the next few weeks. I haven't even gotten to inventory today. It's been shipping from 10 straight through till now with about 30 minutes break for lunch. OI. I'm going to sit here and contemplate my navel for a bit.

Russian Tarot
Two beggar women (or two beggar men with long hair and dresses or pants that look like dresses, I'm not picky) contemplate five coins. One sitting against an old stump contemplates three coins off to her left, one standing with a walking stick and an old dead tree to her left contemplates four coins in front of her. This is kind of how I feel right now.

Crow's Magick Tarot
A cat (oooh) surrounded by the scratchings it makes, one assumes. Sitting on something. Maybe a ledge, one paw up on a higher ledge, looking over its right shoulder. Three coins above, two below.

Spiral Tarot
Two people barefoot with cloaks, one child and one adult (or one small person and one adult) in a house, their backs to the reader. In the window, two people look very happy together while someone in a similar blue cloak to the adult watches; the impression I get is two people outside who have fallen on hard times outside of a house in which people enjoy high times. Two coins on the floor behind the cloaked people, three inset into the designs at the top arch of the window. Is this a theme?

Keywords Concern, Complexity, Destitution, Loss, Failure, Error, Mistress or Lover (an expensive one, one guesses), Poverty (material and spiritual), Low Self-Worth; Reversal of bad trend, New Interest, Overcoming Ruin, Disharmony in Marriage.
