I wound up writing four stories for yuletide and here they are:

After the Rain, Black Jewels Trilogy. Feat: Surreal, Daemon. Surreal looks for a reason to stay, after the battles are over, and perhaps finds one in an unusual way.

My Lady, Gormenghast. Feat: Steerpike. Steerpike reflects upon his lady, at the end.

Ink Blots, Anita Blake. Feat: Anita Blake. Anita discovers that, yes, she can solve a homicide in one night.

The Unspeakable Vice, Merry Gentry. Feat: Doyle, Frost. Doyle and Frost share a secret moment of togetherness.

Summary: Now that's a little more like it. Got a bunch of things cleared off my to-do list. Got a bunch of things done for a bunch of prompt communities. All in all, not a bad week. I thought about doing one of those year in review things, with a list of fic I'd written, like Nutty and a couple others have? And then I realized how long that would look, so I stopped.

The Week Ahead: Mailing out novel submissions. And sheer panic. And following up with one agent. And then more fanfic, and more panic. Heh.
