kittydesadeSo, between cleaning the .. the game room, I guess .. I've been reading the self-insertion part of Dark Tower VI.
Much as I hate self-insertion of any kind, and especially when it's as blatant as putting that author, Stephen King, who wrote the Dark Tower actually in the Dark Tower, this wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Kind of wistful, romanticizing his past no doubt, even the bad parts, but it wasn't that badly done. It's kind of growing on me.
Of course, now I'm going to be very disturbed if I wind up writing the Arcana the way he's written the Dark Tower, because I'm going to have images of Sam coming up to me one fine day and going all "You will write this" and .. yeah. Since it's Sam? that's going to be creepy and probably twisted. But.
Right. Back to cleaning, and reading, and probably painting with these fine new burnishing techniques.
