I've been attacked by leprechauns with ninja stealth again.
Three bull orcs almost done, which leaves two to go. Yes? Yes. No. Three and two from eight leaves three. How many did I paint blue? One plus two. Plus one. Plus two, plus one is...
You can see how together I am today.
Three. Three and two from eight leaves three, and I only painted two blue-green bull orcs. Right. And then when I've done with these bull orcs it will be onto some other villains, and then I will work on some icons. And some writing. It doesn't look like we're going to the M3's today, but maybe we will tomorrow. Vespurrs, how's Sunday for you? I'll pencil that in there.
My painting journal is slowly getting filled, which in turn fills me with a sense of accomplishment. The painting journal, that is, is my notebook in which I jot down which colors and techniques I used for which figures. Some of the entries are simple (Bull Orc: base coat - med olive, highlight - yellow, drybrush - dk green) and some are complex (Swamp Thing, Pants; Swamp Thing, hair; Swamp Thing... you get the idea). And there's a whole page to be devoted to different kinds of stone, two entries so far. And it's actually giving me the sense that I'm progressing as a painter, which is nice.
I even remembered to pull my hair back this time. Hah!
Um. I'm slowly getting better the more I paint. It's easier and I'm more inclined to paint now that the weather's warmed up; I always prime outside 'cause of the fumes, but when the temperature drops below freezing it does funky things to the primer and sealant. So ... bleh. But it's nice outside, which means I can prime and seal again. Also it means I can sit outside and paint.
That's all, really. This was a fairly boring entry, unless you like to hear about how I slop paint all over my hands and surface and everything but the damn mini. :)
... so, we load the cheese into the back of the mini...
