kittydesadeCASSIUS IS BACK! In one intact piece! We stuffed the entire contents of the craft room into big plastic boxes (which was less difficult than it sounded at first) and put him in there with food, water, litter, and hopefully we can soon get Barton in there as well. He is really snuggly. He's cheerful and chipper both in voice and in tail/face/body movements, he explored it a while, and now he just wants to be social, I think. So there's going to be periodic trips upstairs to sketch and hang out with him. But GAH I am so happy to have him home, safe, vaccinated, and not at risk for being absconded and murdered by animal control. Next up, snagging Barton and then getting HIM to the vet.
I'm not sure he's going to stay an indoor cat, but I'm pretty sure we intend for him to be an indoor cat. If that makes sense. It may help that he's been an under- and around- the house cat for the last five years, so everyone knows his smell. And in the case of Little Bit and Bat Cat, know him to look at.
I need to finish making my web page for my web developer identity. Not that it's much to finish, but I should work on it. After some weeks I'm not sure I like the style, but it's good enough to be going on with, it'll work for colorblind people apparently, and I do need a design to put text on that looks good. That'll do.
I decided to cope with being two weeks late, especially since getting the CLI portion of the project coded yesterday, so today my priorities are drawing and writing. And possibly stitching, but after the pile of stitching I got done over the week I think my priorities should be writing and drawing. I have no idea where I am as far as projects go. I need to take a look at things and see what's for me to edit, what isn't, what to do with all my notes. That'll probably be the overarching project for the weekend, get everything sorted into a list of next tasks other than drafting things.
I feel like I should have more to say but that's pretty much it, a list of things I want to do and a giddy feeling that all is right with my personal world again. All cats are home. All projects are churning along (as far as I know what projects I'm even supposed to be working on). I've got a few more episodes of Cadfael and then apparently there's another season of Grantchester on Amazon Prime so I have that to watch; British murder cozies are keeping me sane these days. It's not all sunshine and roses, but it'll do for now.
