Holy crap, people are already emptying Costcos. In Hawaii, granted, where supply lines are already a bit shaky due to it being an island, but still. Yikes. I can't say too much against it, in that I've already bought extra foundation, extra concealer, filled out my Copic collection a bit more evenly, stocked up on charger cables and headphones, and plan to get another bulk pack of tissues and paper towels tomorrow? ish? But I'm trying to be measured in my stock-up-because-supply-chains-might-get-fucked-ness, which is to say not much more than I usually stock, not so much that we end up with piles of dry goods in our living spaces, and not more than we can conceivably use in a year.

(Except the makeup. Some of that I needed refills on already, both of them I got twice as many tubes as I'd recommend because my funky complexion shifting naturally with the sun means I use a range of shades instead of one or maybe two shades, and it's barely more than I usually keep around. I just needed refills already and what the hell.)

I'm wincing at putting some of this on my credit card when I was supposed to be paying it off, but the chunk of money in my savings account is supposed to go to tooth extraction, soooooo credit card it is. Now it's just minimal spending, saving up for the April Sephora sale when I refill all my bougie makeup, minimal spending to save for DragonCon where all my main expenses are already taken care of. Assuming DragonCon even goes off, which at this point is less of a safe assumption than usual but also, assuming everything's going to be cancelled still in September is arrogant in the other direction.

Going to have to get back into routines after a week and a half of vacation because I had a lireavue and it was far more fun to fuck off, be silly, speculate, make jokes about having little a X as a treat, and drool over our newest fascination Joey Batey. He plays Jaskier in The Witcher but it also turns out he has a fantastic voice and mind for lyrics and music and he and Madeleine Hyland have a band called The Amazing Devil and I may have spent the entire past week with their music in my head. Oops. We ate way too much rich food, sat around staring at nothing, it was very restful for me and I hope it was very restful for you! *waves forlornly from a southerly direction* and all in all, a good vacation. Also lots of Harry Potter fun.

And tomorrow apparently a couple of errands and then some house cleaning and a lot of trying to organize my brain and get shit done before the April Camp Nanowrimo session. Yay.

Considering this morning I bounced out of bed and sat on people's heads about how none of us were allowed to do heavy lifting and then promptly eyeballed the sink and determined how much I thought I actually COULD do... yes. Yes I would say restful. >.>
