kittydesadeI had grand intentions of summarizing the fun and games of DragonCon this evening but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. I'm still exhausted and going to try to get to bed early and get a lot of sleep. And hopefully that'll happen, since I'm on the last Jaran book.
A brief, brief summary: got in at ugh late Wednesday, checked in, stayed up till 2 reading which was very nice. Got up, got ready, went down the next day to check in properly and go get my badge, donated blood (platelets, as it turned out) and met up with friends. Friday was my first panel, my first tour through the dealer's room, checking in with more friends, walking around the Walk of Fame right before it closed. Saturday was more panels, more Walk of Fame, more hanging out with friends. Sunday was a reading, more panels, and spending a stupid but predicted amount of money in the dealer's hall because yeah. And I got a Volante coat. Because I've been meaning to get one for a while.
I read a bunch of books on the bus there and back, lordy, the bus trip back was safe enough but not without incident. But that can get described tomorrow. And the books on Wednesday I suppose. So many books. V satisfying.
So is sleep though.
