kittydesadeWell. It's been a freaking exhausting week. First half of the week. The bulk of it was just exhausting days at work, but yesterday the boy was late coming home because of behavioral difficulties, which meant me doing the last bits of cleaning in the house, and then it turned out we do have termites and have to pay a sum of money to not have termites (but after that a maintenance contract with the company is very reasonable, and I trust them, my uncle's been using them for years) and then Bat Cat got out again (he's back now) and then I had to teach class when, by the end of the day, all I wanted to do was go home and pass out.
I did teach class. We worked mostly on chair drills because it was just me and the Rock Climber and he's leaving for a few months soon, wants to keep practicing on his own. And then we did songs, which was easy peasy for me and nice and relaxing. Bat Cat didn't come back till this morning, but he came up to the inner patio door that connects with the house since we'd left those doors closed and the outer doors open so he could have a shelter, and he sat there until the boy noticed him. Which didn't take very long. And judging by the time he took between leaving the bedroom and shouting "GUESS WHO'S BACK" he just opened the door and Bat Cat walked right in. Jackass cat.
I've decided we're going to do a thing where we lock him in the patio and hang some bells on the inner door and ring them and then open the door (it'll take both of us) to teach Bat Cat that if you ring the bells someone will come open the door. That way when (probably not if, probably when) he runs out again it'll be easy to tell when he wants back inside.
Blergh. Many stress. Much tired. Much work to do still but I don't wanna do any of it. Ugh. I just want a day to sleep. On the plus side I forgot that Monday is Memorial Day, so I won't have any UPS to do. I'll go in to work and do some cleaning up, but it should be a lot quieter. Almost like a three day weekend. Except that, heh, I forgot, I'm working a few hours Saturday. Balls.
Whatever, I'll have all Sunday to sleep and rest and relax and that'll be what it is. And I'll find the energy somewhere to keep going until I can spend a day asleep.
