May. 15th, 2019 11:53 pmSo I sat down to eat lunch, got halfway through a bag of chips and decided, goddammit, I am going to read more, I am going to catch up on my TBR, I am going to do this thing. And then I grabbed my Kindle, then the phone rant twice and interrupted me as I was about to start in on my sandwich and book. The universe hates my reading. Or my leisure.
Because aahahah okay first a camp came to pick up their order, and that required much more conversation than I expected. And then they sorted that out and since the guy had come to pick up several buckets of dye materials and ten pounds of leather we let him have the cart to take it out to the car. And he went one way down the street. And then he went down the other way. And I was a bit concerned he was going to spend the day wandering around downtown like a Stoppard character. But then I had to go help a Yarn Crawl winner pick out their goodie bag, and then I volunteered to help a couple find a coffee shop that was near the store and maybe I could see the guy and our cart? (I did. He must have remembered he was in this other parking garage which is a bit further from our store, so all's well that ends well. Shakespeare, not Stoppard.)
And then I came back and there was a huge order to pack and after all that goddammit I went up and got a cookie.
uld come in and suck up all the liquid again. Class was good. Class was actually pretty great, my foot still huts but I'm pretty sure it's getting better. Class was pretty great and therefore I am le tired. And I don't want to do anything but sit and play my video game and do my makeup and then take off my makeup and do it again. I also took a picture of my loot haul from the VIB Sephora sale and it was kind of terrifying. I had the money to spend but yikes. Though I suppose on the other hand I'm not likely to do that again for a few years, if ever. I found a handful of new products that I like, and only half? a third? of them are going to be re-buys. Either because I'm not going to use those products up ever, or because I got five different mini sizes of primers and picked one out of them to use. Three different mini bronzers and I don't know if I'm even going to use them. A skin care line sample pack to try. Things like that. About two thirds of my ridiculous buy was minis and samples, because.. I don't know. Because I decided I wanted to switch things up and try something new? I also got a bunch of stuff from drugstore sources too, I think I have a new makeup routine that's both lightweight and more durable. I hope. I also jotted down some tips on how to refresh your makeup from a Sephora video, which thankfully will only require putting a few things into a makeup bag and sticking them into my con bag. Oogh. I am le tired.
And I am le annoyed that I've been too goddamn tired lately to do any writing work whatsoever. I hope that changes over the next couple days. It's gnawing in the back of my brain and okay yes, it's entirely probable that I needed the rest from writing after Nanowrimo, but aaaargh.
