kittydesadeIn the epitome of "no this is the opposite of what I wanted" the longest day ever was cut short... by the boy getting sick enough that it lasted into Thursday morning whereupon he, still feverish, asked me not to go to work. So I didn't, and the day was quiet enough that I kind of feel like I could have but I still got to rest up and do things after a long stressful Wednesday so it wasn't that bad?
But worse than that it was a stomach sick, probably flu but if we're both lucky food poisoning which is not in fact contagious. But now I'm at work and having a rumbly feeling in my stomach that I'm hoping is just weird gas. I've already cancelled capoeira tomorrow morning just in case. The last thing anyone needs is me exploding at both ends while upside down trying to kick someone. ... wow that's a gruesome image and now you're all coming with me on that mental journey.
It's fine, hopefully I'm not sick and can spend the next few days finally catching up with the rest of the internet and updating my presence on Smashwords and picking up a presence on Gumroad. I really needed to do that, oh, months ago, but it's going to happen now. Ugh.
And hell, maybe I'll feel good enough to clean the house too. I'm still surprised that I managed to mostly keep up with it while the boy was sick and after the longest day of dental work, but it could still use a lot of putting everything back the fuck where it goes, and I need to clean up the stacks of books in the office and the media cabinet. Still. I've only been meaning to reorganize it for ages.
Bleh, I got nothing else. I'm desperately hoping I'm not sick with the stomach freight train virus, I've been sleeping on the guest bed for the past two nights which, though adequate, is not the memory foam I'm used to, I had fucked up dreams last night about DC-home, and I just want a couple of days to do very little and finish Lucifer S3. And then be happy that when S4 drops it'll drop all at once so we can find out just what the fuck is going to happen with Deckerstar, because Deckerstar forever. Even if he does need smacked every so often.
