Aaaugh I just spent a bunch of money on gourmet leather goods and now my brain is freaking out.

To be clear, this was money I'd budgeted and saved up for the express purpose of buying said gourmet leather goods at the store's Black Friday sale. The same store I got my purse at, and I've been looking at a couple of things there for a while and thinking about getting them, so it's not a spontaneous here I'll fling a few hundred dollars thataway thing. Plus it turned out when I measured that I was not in fact tiny enough for the face cowl I wanted, so I got a couple of masks instead and their discount was deeper than I'd planned for (just in case, always plan more expensive) and all in all, it was about 3/4 what I'd estimated. But my brain is still going you spent how much why would you ever

Shut up brain. I'm an adult, I paid my bills, I budgeted, I can buy expensive leather crap if I want.

Of course the biggest problem that I did not anticipate is that now all I want to do is windowshop for more clothing and decorations. No, brain. We are not doing that, calm down and do your writing. You can catalog all the clothing later, or more of the clothing than you already have catalogued. Since I still have a giant catalogue of a lot of it. Okay not a giant catalogue but I'd started to catalogue everything a while back and I should really get back to that in bits and pieces, a few pieces of clothing per day. Meh.

Nanowrimo continues to go well and I wrote something that I tossed up for free on my Patreon that I'm very proud of and would like to keep writing but am not sure how to. Is it a novel? Is it a novella? Is it a series of short stories? What am I doing with these ladies? Bzuh. Still. Nanowrimo is going well is the main point, hopefully soon to be followed by other writing and lots of editing and re-reading going well. Although December may be Do Bare Minimum For 4TW Streak And Patreon month because bleeeh burnout.

Although oddly I don't feel very writing burnt out.

Not much else is going on. People are healthy, cats are about as healthy as can be expected, hopefully Mikey's next checkup on the prednisone will be good. The ferals have moved into the garage for the winter, every time I go into the utility room to do laundry (it's connected to the garage) I get at least one usually two black furball yowling at me. Of course this also means the raccoons and possums have moved into the garage/utility room/crawlspace so we're only giving the ferals a little bit of food at a time so as to feed them when they demand it and not the raccoons and possums when they smell it. Y'all can find your own food.

Oh but some jackass school head in our area decided that kids didn't have to have their immunizations before coming to school if their parents strenuously objected ("Your Honor, I object!" "Overruled!" "No, I strenuously object!" "Oh, you strenuously object? Well, then I should take some time to reconsider.") and now we have a chicken pox outbreak. Which, since I've heard you can still get it if you had it as a kid prompted an email to my doctor. No, he says, if I had it as a child I am still immune, and then I double checked with my Mom to make sure that vague memory was what I thought it was and it was so I'm good but oh my god people. Vaccinate your fucking kids. (Medical reasons not to excepted, of course, which is why it's so important for the rest of us to get fucking vaccinated.)

... dammit when are my gourmet leather goods going to get here.
