Which is definitely somewhat my fault on account of I stayed up again far too late last night reading, this time, a book which ultimately might not have been worth it but which wasn't bad. But still. Overheated and exhausted and I just want to go home and sleep more.
What I ended up doing instead was getting sushi, a quarter cake of cheesecake, and a slice of chocolate cake and eating, um, most of it? Because fuck everything I am tired. And I sat down and I read with Midsomer Murders playing in the background and I don't have the energy to do much else.
And I made the mistake of reading that one article that said there may not be a blue wave due to Republicans turning out at record numbers too and I'm too tired for reason tonight. Too tired to tell myself it's not even actual election day yet. And the numbers aren't in. Ugh.
I'm not sure what part of this is PMS and what part of it is packing for the show and what part of it is that I haven't gone to sleep (to bed maybe but not to sleep) nearly as close to on time as I should have. A combination of all three is the easy answer.
Yeah, I'm going to try going to bed semi-early this time and see if getting a lot more sleep actually helps anything. Otherwise it's going to have to be sharks and hoping that fixes it. And if that doesn't, I don't even know what's going on.
