kittydesadeI really need to get better about posting these on time.
So! From... thursday, I think. I'm definitely excited about the fact that we might have a dye house still. Again. Something. The boy is looking at a different personal loan offer that might consolidate our credit cards from various large expenses that we're still paying off (I looked into one too but those interest rates from the one I looked at weren't much better than what I'm paying now so hell with that) so that might get solved sooner or later. And then today (Sunday) the boy started making noises about what we'd need to get legally married, so I have to call the office and get that straight on Tuesday. We would have been relatively happy going on about our lives without it (we would have also needed to make sure the powers of attorney and health directives were accessible but otherwise happy to stay unmarried) but given the current regime I think we want as much solidifying of our legal and financial status as possible.
I spent the bulk of the weekend not writing, which bothers me slightly but I also spent it not doing much in the way of anything that required brainwork, so I wonder if I simply wasn't burnt out from a week of activity, logistics, worrying, more worrying, the Kavanaugh stress, etc. It merits future examination but I think in hindsight I might have been better off declaring fuck it for all the writing projects and curling up with a book or three. I did take some out of the library! And one will need to go back tomorrow since I realized it isn't the time for it.
On the plus side though I did get a pile of junk mail burned, some of the porch swept of acorns and things, healthy dinner happened, things got washed, and floors were swept. And workstations almost tidied. And the pace wasn't awful, and I pampered myself a bit, and it was generally a good day within the house.
