Oct. 4th, 2018 02:52 pmWell. Towards the end of the week of utter and annoying hell and chaos, things are starting to look up? We're talking to a dyehouse that, while not within the same state and therefore really fucking close, is at least on the same coast and might be able to take over our yarn. We've bought from them before in a different division, and it seems like they're going to be around for a while, so it (hopefully) won't be an issue of having a two year breather and then worrying all over again. The boy found my bag of brush pens and I started practicing my decorative calligraphy, quickly regaining the hang of it. 4 The Words came back and after a few hours of snafu, the functionality is great and it looks like I'll be picking work back up again pretty quick.
I'm doing more and more work on my tablet, and at this point I don't know if I'm going to get the laptop fixed. It is a three year old laptop and it is the screen that's broken which tends to be one of the more expensive parts to replace. My only problem at this point is remembering to shut it down before I plug it in at night, which makes it charge faster.
I've managed to do around 20 minutes of exercise every morning, which is impressive amount of regaining energy and routines, and I'd probably do better at getting back into shape if I wasn't eating brownies for breakfast every morning out of stress. It's been a week. And it's only Thursday. But that's happening, and next week I'm going to try to fold languages back into the mix, after getting home and before writing, as per usual. We'll see how that goes.
Writing is going relatively well! I'm managing to make progress in several projects at once per day, that's far more than I've been able to get done.
