kittydesadeKilljoys and Wynonna Earp are baaaaack. They're back back back. I am so happy to have more badass women on my screen. And also more of the men, let's not forget the men. The women are the role models and the men are exquisite scenery. And some of them are funny. No, I'm just happy to have these wonderful and wonderfully written shows that I love back on the air.
I was reminded by, well, myself today that if I'm feeling angry all the time by what's been going on, that writing isn't the best outlet anymore. (Or perhaps it never was, but that would require digging into my psyche more than I care to at midnight-thirty in the evening.) And drawing is a thing I can do, I carry around a sketchbook. So I spent about 25-30 minutes today drawing crows, and that did help. I should do more of that more often. Especially if I want to work on my photorealism ish, since my cartoon drawing isn't really going anywhere consistently.
I also got some studying of code in. Which hasn't happened in a few months but my brain was restless and I needed something to do and I didn't have my physics notes with me at work.
(Although the fun side effect of doing all of this instead is I didn't get any productive writing done today until about 11. Ah well, tomorrow. And work was horribly busy. It started out just busy enough and then twenty things happened at once and I spent the rest of the day untangling them. I didn't much like it.)
Tomorrow. Tomorrow there will be a better allocation of exercise and sketching and writing and working on edits and plots and things. Today there was a haphazard distribution of these things, plus some more cleaning. I'm actually very pleased that the cleaning took up such a good portion of the day. Also that some of my tomatoes are finally ripening, 'm getting very tired of picking green tomatoes.
