kittydesadeMikey threw up three times last night and this morning, twice watery stuff that could be hairballs from losing winter coats and once some yellow? brown? it looked different from first to second glance, but either way, it is deeply concerning and I did not get much sleep and Bat Cat is not yet back and I am tired and upset.
I did get half of Malachy entered into Scrivener for formatting. I drew up a family tree for one of the other major families in Lifestyles of the Witch and Famous, one of whom is also the antagonist. So I have a long list of biographies to write. So that'll keep me busy, plus a couple novel synopses just to keep in my binder, plus working up the timeline for Malachy tonight so I can put the second half of that into Scrivener, plus ... there were other things I was drafting. Oh, Balls. I have an idea how those are going to go as far as plot structure and who the characters are in each, I have a solid idea. I just have to sit my butt down and put all the stress away from my head long enough to write them.
Heh, I did also notice Fireside is going to be accepting in about a month again, so I might as well toss Body Shop their way. It's almost the right word length, I just have to cut a few extra bits here and there and see what it looks like without the notes.
And I'm tired. I need a vacation from my sort of vacation, and for the boy to come back (which, he called earlier today and said he was stuck in [Generic town name] in Kentucky and I looked it up and that's about an hour's drive from where he started and if he isn't home tonight I may cry.
I have two more offers on the author photos thing, I'm not looking at any of them until Monday. Because to hell with all of this whole adulting thing until Monday. Except work related adulting I guess, I'm going to be going in for a couple hours on the weekend so Aunt can take time off with other aunt. But that's less adulting and more standing around looking knowledgeable. Other things I wanted to do this weekend, because it will fall out of my brain if I don't write them down: go through and clean up my files in my laptop at least, if not my desktop too. (If my desktop too, get a different background dear god). Clean up my eyeshadows so I actually end up with a range I'll use. (Mostly this has to do with the subscription box.) And. And I don't know. Oh, batch cook a lot so I have food for Camp Nanowrimo. Always important.
