kittydesadeAnother good night's sleep, another feeling less like everything is lifting rocks. It's remotely possible I'll be caught up on things and the house will be clean by the time my mother gets here towards the end of March. Which reminds me that I should send her home with a copy of Turing Shrugged if she hasn't already gotten it. I'm not too sure.
I am pretty sure the boy gave me his cold, which is aggravating. Especially since I already took Wednesday off capoeira, I am damn sure going to try and go tomorrow morning. Of course like an idiot I stayed up far too late working on various projects and got distracted...
Okay, so the lesbian space opera is still sort of progressing, and I'm getting much more into the whole writing science fiction thing. And then one day this evening someone retweeted something about Lady Mechbeth and now they wanted that story, and I thought ooh I should do that. And then a friend wanted in on it and suddenly it all lay before me, creating a world bible and a background for a Wild Cards esque world where I recruit writers and someone does the copy editing and I do some of the writing and some of the more thematic and continuity editing and I have no idea how to do this, logistically, or anything and I possibly could do it if I devoted a lot of time and energy but what I really want is the backing of a publishing company.
Anyway, in a couple days I'll write a pitch and see where it goes. I'm working on one draft of a story for the fantasy podcast and if I don't get the full cold I'll finish that this weekend and start a draft of the aquatic fantasy story. I have some ideas for that but nothing concrete. Long Road and TFAT are progressing, I only managed ten pages of edits on Malachy today but that still only leaves fourteen to go. I feel so behind on everything but I'm reasonably sure that's because I'm cycling short projects a lot faster. And. Well, the rest of the day was mostly trying to stay upright at work.
