kittydesadeI slept! I slept a lot, it was glorious. I slept hard and woke up slowly, but I actually slept through the damn night. Hopefully NyQuil keeps working for me until equally hopefully the thyroid medication kicks in and starts working for me.
I've been playing around more on Mastodon, including starting to make those posts I've been meaning to do on tumblr about what Magic used to be like and how it was tied in with Christianity (and Judaism and Islam, I forgot about that aspect too) for ages, and in a lot of ways still is because a lot of people I think bring out all the old shit without knowing where its origins tie into. So, yeah. I'm basically just dropping info with the hashtag 'HistoryofMagic' because I am a giant dork with access to books.
4 The Words got itself a bug problem and set a bunch of the Nano-specific quests back a ways, but not to worry! My progress on the regular quests is intact so I've been doing those and killing those beasts. Heh. Oops. I do need to do some more work on various other things but did some note-taking on Gevaudan again and how to integrate it into Long Road, so I'll count that as edits rather than taking a page count since about a quarter of the damn novel is Gevaudan.
The only part about the whole sleeping with NyQuil thing that's bugging me is I misguessed my timing and didn't wake up until it was too late to cram exercise in sideways in the morning since I had to do all my various morning shit. Ugh. I really wanted to do it tonight too but by the time I ate and did research and some other crap it's time to take drugs and go to sleep so I can wake up in time to do exercise tomorrow aaaaaaaargh. Why can't I just sleep through the night like I used to and not have to deal with this back and forth crap. Meh.
Oh well. Hopefully tomorrow I wake up, am rested and can get back to shit at least for the rest of the week until Friday? Monday? When I find out if my thyroid really is packing it in and causing all this trouble or if it's something else unexplained.
So grumpy about my physical body. So thrilled about everything else. Weird.
