kittydesadeWell. I guess I needed that sleep, but I can't help but grumble that I needed to get up and be productive more. And yet I ended up sleeping in till about 8.15, after a brief awakeness to check things and do the necessary. And. And grrr. I wanted to get other shit done.
Too late. Stop dwelling and kicking yourself, self, get moving now that you're more awake. Besides, sleeping in was probably a sign to shut up stop moving (especially after a very active day of work yesterday and then walking all over the place for errands after work) and let your body continue to heal. Heh.
(I did find on Network, though, the most helpful advice of "Don't pet the brainweasels." So unto you I say: please don't pet the brainweasels.)
I did at least wake my brain up around 2, 2.30 and figure out what July's Camp Nanonovel is going to be. Which means reading over my outline, figuring out what I'm going to do with names and settings and magic vs demons vs werewolves and vampires? what? vs space aliens even if I set it in Houston. I also have to figure out what the hell is going on and who the other major factions in the high school are and what the threat is. DETAILS. MINOR DETAILS.
Of course about an hour later of excited talking with my co-originator not only do I have about 3/4 of a plot and several beats and some background, I also have renewed faith in myself and my own writing. So I guess this post over the course of the day went from argh grr sad to yay? Also I have hope that the Femme Fatale order will get untangled shortly. (And by shortly I mean probably by the beginning of next week because stupid business days, but.)
Now if you'll excuse me I have Camp Nanowrimo rules to look up and possibly even more things to write. WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
