kittydesadeAm very cranky all of a sudden because of UCLA shooting bullshit, so let me just say that for every psychopath who kills humans but is concerned for the life of his animal (yes, it's usually a him) I must know ten people who consistently say and sometimes express greater love for their pets than their fellow human, and I don't see any of them fucking shooting any humans. Asshole.
And also this is why I'm scared of white men. That, and I'm going to start making a list of women and manners of death and just bring it out and wave it around whenever anyone asks me why I'm nervous around (white) men. Usually white men. Sometimes just larger men. Which is all men because I've met exactly one man in my life, including grocery cashiers and ticket vendors and all the other people you meet for five seconds, who was smaller than me. Scientifically designated variants aside.
I'm five foot tall, so, yes, I was surprised too. He also exhibited textbook signs of post-traumatic stress from assault so. See above two paragraphs.
HAPPIER THOUGHTS. The braintwin accidentally a makeup hack, that is useful. We're pulling together the Femme Fatale order, which is also useful if probably an indulgence I shouldn't make (look I scheduled it over a month ago I'm totally making it.) Fyrinnae has a makeup sale till the end of today PST! That is an indulgence I'm definitely not making because I still have enough in my sample jars of what I want fulls of to last me a bit. Look at me expressing willpower!
Happy drawing things! Uncle Elf Lord found a whole bunch of fairly large sheets of good paper which he put away for me at work, ee! I haven't managed to draw since... well, okay, the weekend was spent recovering but I did some doodling there, but then Tuesday was dentist and busy at work and Wednesday was busy at work and capoeira and dizzy, and so okay, I guess today is the first clear day I've had in a bit, but I'm still getting itchy. Which is good!
Happy writing things! I wrote words yesterday! I may slowly be moving back into the idea of submitting things, short stories at least, thanks to a friend posting a link yesterday. Which means I need to get back and finish the goddamn web stuff jesus self. But that, so I can keep track of what I'm doing there.
The Rock Clock is getting talked up again/some more, that always pleases me. We tried a new Chinese food place that puts actual crab in their crab rangoon (to be fair to our usual one they don't say crab, they say cheese rangoon, but) and I was in food heaven last night.
Funko Pop is putting out Deadshot and Tulip pop dolls based on Will Smith and Ruth Negga respectively, which means we have dolls of Deadshot and Tulip (from Preacher) of color. Which I think is really damn cool.
Work is not overly stressful today which means writing and drawing at work may happen, which means other stuff can happen at home. Like makeup swatching, tossing of cut branches, and web coding/graphics design stuff. This pleases me greatly.

Date: 2016-06-04 07:43 pm (UTC)And yes, he did need to hear it. Because maybe it'll explain the actions of some of his co-workers, friends, people he runs into in the course of his day, whoever. And maybe he'll think about his own behavior. And as you say, that's one moment of his discomfort vs the lifetime women/etc have to worry about it.
