May. 11th, 2016 10:09 amSo on the plus side, I've not only even further immersed myself in the whole drawing thing by crashing headlong into Hey I Can Draw Manga Now, I've also managed to balance this out with getting almost all my daily words written, including in an older story that's on my schedule to finish right now, before I left for work.
On the minus side apparently at least one NC school is saying kids should use pepper spray on trans kids tring to use the bathroom. So now I want to punch people.
Fucking hell, these are kids just trying to be themselves, in middle and high school which is hard enough for cis kids, and you want to encourage their classmates to pepper spray them? I don't even know how to explain this because as much as I'd like to appeal to their humanity, I'm kind of afraid they don't have any.
Uuugh. Okay, no, happier things. The manga thing, for one. And managing to sort of balance between writing, drawing realistic and drawing manga, and various other projects. Though I didn't do as good a job of that yesterday as I wanted, but part of that was because instead of the Monday Portuguese lesson we had the Tuesday lesson. Which went pretty well! So there's that, too. I took a look at my to-do list and if I don't try to make the red coat which, realistically, is only to get that done and out of a project box, I'm not actually very behind at all. (I do need to remember to keep an eye on it though, and to go back and look at my calendar and make sure I'm on track with writing, too.)
At some point later today I should do a separate Wednesday Reads post because I have read a buttload of things I think I want to talk about, most of them graphic novels I picked up at Free Comic Book day over the weekend. But. Buuut. Okay, so I don't feel as on top of things as I usually do after a good night's sleep, but I feel like I've got my hands on all the various strings I'm pulling, so there's that? And, Muses help me, I have a shopping list for fucking art supplies for the forseeable future.
Which means I should stop dithering at y'all about all the things I have to do and get to doing. Yes.
