I still have no idea what the fuck is going on in my body (there's a weight issue which I won't even get into, and which is probably predictable after a week plus of being maybe sick and definitely tired but which is still annoying) but today the facehugger crusties are a little less, the sinus drippage kept waking me up last night but seems to be controllable by flinging drugs at it? And I ate least got enough rest to feel marginally human and not have the sleep deprivation headache (migraine?) of doom from yesterday. So I'll take that as an improvement.
I still miss having my nose, or right now the area under my nose, not be covered in scab/crusties/whatever the fuck else is going on there. It's not even dripping that much! I know this because all my sinus drip is going down the back of my throat because ow. What the fuck, body.
(Of course that means today is the day we get fourteen boxes, more like crates, of our house brand of weaving yarn that we wholesale because I can't fucking win.)
I did at least manage to get some gardening done over the weekend, and by gardening I mean I went with the boy and pointed out the types of soil we needed, picked up herbs and a shamrock to replace the one that got et by the groundhog, and then he did all the heavy lifting of soil bags into car and thence into the last raised bed. I did a fair bit of transplanting too, but in stages and mostly out of the heat of the day. And napping. I did a lot of napping.
It turns out the Rock has this app with UnderArmor or whoever called Rock Clock (it's free, yes) where you can set your own alarm or you can wake up with the Rock. I figured what the hell because the ad display says 5.30, and whether or not that's 5.30 pacific time or 5.30 in my time zone, that's fine, I've been getting up that early anyway. I hit the 'wake up with the Rock' button and it says 4.15. DWAYNE JOHNSON YOU FUCKER. That said the app sounds like fun as an alarm if nothing else, it makes a good alternative to Jarvis "Ma'am, please wake up" especially if you're not on the gender binary (as far as I know Jarvis has no settings other than 'sir' and 'ma'am') and the alarms are... um. The Rock singing "get your candyass out of bed" amuses me anyway. There's also some purely instrumental ones that sound like they'd be good background music for a power walk away from an explosion.
... I just found one called "lovely flute" which involves a flute and the Rock whispering 'wakey wakey' oh my fucking god.
Bit by slow, steady bit. I did inexplicably manage to get my schedule for writing hammered out with Editrix over the weekend, so I have that at least organized enough to do. I've still got Will Shakespeare: A Play to finish, but that's not so bad, I know what's happening there. I've got crafts and gardening sorted for the next while I think. I don't feel overwhelmed but if I think about it there are a lot of tiny lists of things for me to do, and blegh. I wish I could sleep through the night again. I wish I could wake up without my face feel like it's been caked over again.
