Dec. 6th, 2004 07:16 amNote to self: Sitting on the couch is fine, never ever lay down on the couch unless you are either on hyper-drugs or preparing to have the life sucked out of you. Apologies to those I promised a quick good night to and never managed to make it back online. Woke up with my face planted in the arm of the couch at three in the morning, what fun. My back is going to murder me for this.
On the plus side, very strange dreams. The first of which involved a debate club at which I wound up hitting on and snuggling with some guy named... crap. I can't remember. Brandon Sanchez? I remember the Sanchez part. Arnold Schwarzenegger was there too for some reason. Brandon was veddy veddy cute.
And then another dream in which I had to flee into my family's castle (!) to avoid a dragon, and I had a stealthy plan and everything. The dragon was terrorizing people; I had to stop it. At first fleeing got its attention, but then I hid and made a chant to keep invisible. And then I flew into the doors but it saw me and tried to shake the castle down. Only underneath it looked like a school. Medieval Xavier's? So I'm flying through the hallways muttering a chant to make the whole thing solid as bedrock.
Halls of stone
Walls of stone
Let your foundations stand
I don't know why I come up with random lines in my dreams that stay for years afterwards. I really don't. It's ... wacky. Anyway. Hah. Wakefulness is good. *rubs hands, goes to wrap up TM posts and things*
