kittydesadeAnother arbitrary time measurement calculated off, another too-bright morning in which I wake up too early and spend quite a bit of time staggering around trying to decide if I want to be a disciplined courtesan this morning or one who sleeps in. Discipline won this time, for a couple horus. Helped by the fact that studying languages means I get to stay huddled under covers. And then I ended up napping for almost three hours, which, whatever. It's a holiday I do what I want!
We went out to the new Five Guys that's apparently local, where I ate far more than was reasonable or at least than felt reasonable to my stomach, and then ended up impulse stopping at an OfficeMax that was closing and picked up a couple printer ink cartridges, a hard drive external for the X-Box, and a new computer chair for me since big discounts means I can replace the stupid broken chair. It's possible it could get fixed. But I have no idea where to take it and rrgh I want a better chair. Theoretically there'll be two desks in the office anyway, so if we do get it fixed that can be the other desk chair.
Cleaning the office, though, gyah. It's also where we had Little Bit quarantined, so apart from the various cat stains there's cat hair fucking everywhere and I'm allergic. And while we keep the rest of the house pretty well swept and I don't have major fits except in midsummer when everyone's shedding like crazy, going into a room where cats have been shedding like that? Augh. Plus all the dust because we haven't dusted in there much, plus, well, I don't know but it's driving me nuts.
Ah well. That's done, my calendar is sort of scheduled out for the next year as far as writing and re-writing goes, and now I guess I just do dailies until I'm done and hanging out and knitting! Or maybe say fuck the dailies it's vacation I'm hanging out and knitting.
I promise there'll be a look back/look forward post soon. maybe even tonight! I just ended up cleaning a lot today so my brain got kind of fried. If I get a second wind I might do it tonight! Maybe. I wouldn't count on it.
