And the day started out so well. I got up, there was Haven, I got the My God It's Full Of Stars shawl onto the next chart, I did a row of fair isle on the mittens and was flush with success with that. I got all my usual morning routines done except for exercise because see also endless fucking shawl. I was really excited about the fair isle! And I got my ravelry patterns tagged and sorted since I went on a favoriting spree a while back and never had sorted them.

And then I found out -- I don't know if some of you guys saw this post on tumblr a while back about the two young ladies, a couple, who went missing in A'ville recently? -- for some reason the Citizen Times appeared on my doorstep this morning, and the top article was about one of the women's bodies being found in the French Broad River. :/ Not exactly a surprise, but damn well not the ending anyone was hoping for. They do have the accused in custody, so there's not much mystery about what's going on, but. Not the ending anyone was hoping for.

Anyway. I also picked up a 60" cable since either I lost my small Hiya 60" cable or never had one to begin with, and a couple cable connectors, so now I should damn well have enough supplies to do all projects big and small. Especially since I shouldn't have to get a long cable for the bigger size needles since I have a cable connector now! And I hopefully will have a case for my double-points coming, the advantages to working in the LYS. So they can stop rattling the hell around in my bag.

Long Road continues apace! Actually fairly apace, I'm surprised. Edits continue slightly less apace, but I got some done on Sandborn yesterday, too headachy to do WL but I have some hopes of getting that done today. I might actually... I daren't say catch up, but I might actually be productive over the next few days sufficient that my brainwolves may be appeased. And that'd be a nice thing.

Failing that I guess I can always coast along on knitting victory endorphins. I seem to have MANY of those. Now I need some knitting icons though. Ponder.

2. 2 Scenes of Sandborn edits
3. Daily words in Long Road
4. Hindi practice
5. Pack backpack for capoeira tomorrow
6. Throw November cards
7. Start edits in one of WL's stories
8. Start a Long Road ficlet for the sponsorship thing.
9. Online classes catchup.
10. Finish at least 1 fair isle mitt in the interests of finding out how many yards per mitt so you don't have to deal with the whole ball. 36-42, apparently, depending on if I go with what I'll use or a proportion of a ball.

having trouble writing coherent comments on my post-op meds, but here and listening.

also giggling to myself because for a second I thought you meant A/V cables and then I got confused. It is probably funnier if you are *also* on my pain meds.
