Mar. 19th, 2015 12:52 pmI've discovered a thing. Apart from being so uncertain of my ability to [insert language here that is not French or Spanish] that I fall into a gibbering heap of I Suck And Know Nothing Jon Snow at the slightest correction, I am also so convinced that fair isle knitting is a complex and sadistic demon out to get me that the simple solution can't be the right one. And then I go to the Beej and she stares at me and says "No, you usually [simple solution I thought of first]."
"... Oh. Well.... oh."
"It's okay, it won't bite. I know it looks complicated at first."
*slinks back to the shipping cave*
My brain is a fucking moron sometimes and should go sit in the corner till it learns better. Fifty more points from Ravenclaw because apparently I'd forgotten my wallet at Trader Joe's on Wednesday.
(Yes, I picked it up, everything's fine, I just. That kind of thing puts a serious dent in one's ability to think of oneself as sensible, you know?)
So, it turns out what I actually needed to do was to watch Khan Academy videos in conjunction with EdX's AP physics course. At least in theory? Khan Academy has great, slow-moving, show every step of the process videos, but it has no problems that I can test out my physics knowledge on. At least not that I can find. Math? Sure. CSS/HTML? No problem. Physics? No.
Anyway. Now all I have to do is remember to keep cramming writing in there, in between everything else. Heh.
