So, yeah. The other day when we got home from the Shadowrun game (and the reason there hasn't been a recount of the funnies that happened therein) we found that the basement had flooded.

Where most of my stuff was.

Oh joy.

Fortunately it didn't flood too high, and a good chunk of my stuff was pretty well protected. Sadly, what looks like half my books were killed. I'd be upset, but I'm still staring at the sodden mess of half my out of print paperbacks and trying to feel something. Other than ridiculous for being so attached to books.

My signed Stackpole, my paperback of Labyrinth survived. My grandmother's copy of a collection of Shakespeare may have (and that's a whole different world of hurt) but a bunch of other paperbacks that are bloody hard to find didn't. I think my Star Wars and Shadowrun books survived. Oh the irony. I could have gotten those for 2$ almost anywhere. Please, tell me if you recognize any of these, if you've seen them in used bookstores, etc. I will reimburse you for shipping and the cost of the book and everything. Or, Hell, let me know if they're back in print so I can breathe again.

Oh god. One of my comics got destroyed; I really, really hope my signed-by-Neil Gaiman Books of Magic didn't die. Please oh please oh please. I love that thing.
