Argh I typed up a whole bunch of Irish and marked where I was in the bio class and now it's all GONE. GONE TO THE WIND. Ugh.
Okay, no, I was here. On the second video, which I can't actually listen to, I have to watch it too, so that can wait till lunch. And at some point I'll get the email about that immunology course starting up, so. Dyaugh.
Let's have a list, shall we, in rough order of when it's scheduled in the day, of all the shit I am working on right now.
1. Exercise
2. Irish study.
3. My garden
4. My cat army
5. Bio/Immunology study
6. Day job
7. Writing
-- Nerd Girls
-- White Lightning
-- Sandborn
-- Various others
8. Keeping up with Russian (and French. And Spanish.)
9. Blogging (AHAHAHAHHAH SOB)
10. Eating healthy i.e. cooking
11. Reading various things.
12. Knitting
13. Leatherwork?
14. Dragon*Con costumes
SO NO, BRAIN, THERE WILL BE NO STUDYING OF THE ITALIAN LANGUAGE RIGHT NOW ARE YOU HIGH. Collect resources and go after it later. Jesus.
Blogging won't be nearly so bad once we get this backlog done, it's just I seem to be having a hard time gluing ass to chair and getting it done. Recent crises aside. At this point it's just the burden of guilt.
So, yes. But I still look over and see this Italian instructional book and think I could totally do that. No, self. You are doing far too fucking much as it is. First on the list, get the fucking Nerd Girls and White Lightning done, and the blogging. Once those are done, that should free up some brainspace.
Things and stuff. I'm getting oddly dizzy at work for no apparent reason, I can't tell if it's because I'm not eating enough caloric content (I'm trying to eat less, yes, mostly less sugar and crap food, though, and I thought that was surplus caloric content. If it turned out not to be I'm going to be sad and have to rethink a lot of things.) or if it's because I've got the bug of doom still or what. I seem to have this new obsession with finishing my knitting projects, which isn't terrible, and the only project I really have this urge to start new is a smaller version of the sleeves I was knitting, mostly to practice the thumb gusset on. So that's really not terrible. It's just that I have everything else...
Eh. Right. Let's see what kind of writing I can get chunked out today, anyway. One project at a time, bit by bit. Starting with getting fucking White Lightning done. And Nerd Girls drafted, which is sad, but I can fix it later. That's the biggest part, I'm finding now, is that even when I know better I freak out because the prose isn't perfect. But. Writing. And knitting, between, and then when I get home more writing and taking notes on this section of the biology thing. And maybe the edX lessons will have started? Not sure. I don't even remember if those are videos or slides, argh.
Also, note to self: you're on page 109 in the Russian and Anton is being smart for once.

Date: 2014-07-30 11:18 am (UTC)I also should not try to be Tony Stark and ADD courses on Thermondynamics and Circuits/EE. That way lies SERIOUS trouble

Date: 2014-07-30 11:21 am (UTC)It'd... probably mean you have to sacrifice some other thing?

Date: 2014-07-30 11:23 am (UTC)It's funny, though, I was looking through the edX courses for my Immunology course start date (mid-late August, so, good) and there was Thermodynamics, and there was Circuits, and this little Tony Stark* voice popped up going "Yea. You wanted to build your own Iron Man suit, didn't you?"
No. No I did not. Shut up, Tony.
*disclaimer: I do not actually have Tony Stark in here, I just really like the idea of an Iron Man suit. Also I do like to tinker. I just don't have that particular knowledge/skillset. YET.

Date: 2014-07-30 11:29 am (UTC)That actually totally makes sense. And, yes. Your things are good things!
... and I would have really laughed if you'd have procured a Tony Stark voice. I would have LAUGHED.
