Have just now realized that I forgot to finish designing and send off for my business cards for Portland. Oops. So now I have to do that really today or just not have them, and how fucking annoying is that? Things that have slipped right the hell out of my head, argh.
We've hit the point where everything I can think of that I have to do I have to put on HabitRPG because I need to make a list of this shit somewhere and I might as well rack up points on the pixelpets game, right?
See, this is why I need to take NyQuil at least tonight and maybe tomorrow night. It's not even that I'm sick. It's that I'm teetering towards being sick, and if I don't take it I won't sleep through the night, and then I'll be even more exhausted, brain-dead, and sniffly the next day. And things will slip. Like this business card thing, like I can tell I'm getting ready to slip with the replying to comments, with the little things. Need more sleep. More sleep means more brainpower.
I did get my Fantasia and my Chinese food last night. I did manage to get through another chapter of Black Company, not that I'm not enjoying it, I'm just so exhausted it's an effort to stay up and read some. It's also very clunky, which makes it more of an effort. It's also his first book, which means it'll take a while longer before I give up on it. I also managed to get a list of virology books because why the hell not, and even got one out of the library! Gasp! Which meant updating my library card and paying a several years old fine oops. I mean, I returned the book late, so I didn't rack up fines, but I did have one. So. But now I have a new card and I remember my damn pin information and I can put holds on online and do all that cool stuff. And maybe I'll actually keep reading and therefore using the damn library now.
... come to think of it, I think the book that was late was the same one I recently read and found so disappointing. Damn you, Daryl Gregory.
Right. Time to start slogging through my to-do list, both for work and personal stuff. Once again, so goddamn exhausted. Send cold drugs and chocolate.
