kittydesadeI really need to start recording down where I stop in my book so that I remember for next time, so there we go. I finished page 69, apparently that only took me 15 minutes, possibly at least partly because some sentences I could just sight translate and didn't even need to type in? Which, dude. And partly because I'd already done a chunk, because the previous page had a large paragraph. So, if I'm lucky, I can do some more later today.
I also wrote my first weekly blog entry in a while. That kind of ... didn't hurt as much as I expected. I did lay out some things that I'd realized, and described some other things, and hopefully didn't repeat myself too much or get too incoherent. Some days are better than others. I'm really, really hoping I can start getting back to routines now. I'm getting a bit sick of being knocked out of them.
Oh! Today I'm wearing Mary Read, which is fine except that I can't quite tell a difference between that and some of the other ones I favor. Evidently I bring out the musk/patchouli/booze/leather smells, absolutely no salt or sea air at all. So I guess I'll keep this imp unless someone else wants it, but won't really buy a bottle. I'm pretty sure I still have some mixed leather-and-other-things smells.
I should do a check-in post. Even if today is getting marginally better than it started out, what with getting flustered by the boy trying to get me to do one last thing before I leave (next time I just leave) and forgetting my keys and then it taking three fucking phone calls to let him know that, yes, I am locked out. Of the STORE. In the COLD. I would like my KEYS NOW PLEASE AND THANK YOU. If I could get in with Aunt's keys I wouldn't be fucking calling, would I. Argh. Okay, yes, clearly I need to check in and balance out.
(Relatedly, can anyone recommend some major and preferably impartialish German/French/Spanish language newspapers?)
