So, okay, there we go. Verb conjugations are a fucker but I think I finally got it this time. Irish in general is a fucker because these books are not built quite as solidly as school textbooks and there's less going back over shit and reviewing it. Which I think I may do once I get the present tense under me. I'm already taking twice as long on the present tense as the book requires, so.
Sleepy tired, but managing. I picked up my leatherwork again last night since I've started getting more caught up on Nano, which is nice. Also nice is not being so behind that I have to really worry about writing five thousand words a day or something. I mean, not unless I'm going to add in five other writing projects.
Today, another couple grand in White Lightning. I think I've figured it out, too, I need to do 1500 per scene to get every scene to stretch out to 50k, which doesn't actually seem to be turning out that badly. If I have to cut stuff later, eh. So, 2k in White Lightning, and attaching stuff to the back of the current leather pouch so I can sew the fronts of it on later. I might actually do that first on the next hip holster pouch I make so the back looks neater. That ought to keep me busy at work, if there's anything else to be done I can work on dime novels.
I am so enamored of these hip holsters you guys I cannot even. I haven't quite figured out leather tooling so I'm just going to paint on them with fabric paints, I think, if I can manage that. But other than that EEEE HIP HOLSTERS. Out of leather. Which is good because my current "ballistic" canvas one is falling the fuck apart. Not cool, guys. Not cool.
