Okay. This actually seems to be going rather well, reading a chunk of text, typing it into Google translate as I do but not looking. It's nice that I can touch-type in Russian, so I can do that, but that means I can read and pick apart the words I know and the words I sort of vaguely know? The words that look familiar but fuck if I can remember what they are. Then read the (very rough, good god) English translation, attach each rough meaning to the original word in Russian, compile a better translation in my head and understand how it all fits together. It is slow. It is very slow going, I was on page 14 yesterday and I'm halfway down page 15 today. But it seems to really be working. For German, too.

I made a courtesan school post! My first in ages. Checking in is good, self, and you should remember that.

I don't think I actually have much else to talk about. I still really need to get caught up on Nanowrimo, but first I need to get this Person of Interest post out of the way and bleeeeh. Bleh on everything. Bleh. Hopefully tonight will result in some productivity. Now I is off to read German, so nobody bug me, now you know I've done it.
