No, you know what? I want people to start remembering that there is more than one TV show in the world, and not all the world's problems are going to be solved by one romantic relationship, and this specific lack of representation problem does not necessarily need to be solved by pairing these two characters off. In fact, there are many representation problems. Yours is not higher priority than everyone elses.
There, that's what I was trying to say, but won't say because I am so not going to start that slapfight, and everyone seems determined to make it a slapfight. No one wins those.
(Though if we're going to discuss problematic representations on TV, can I punch someone for Devious Maids?)
