I don't even with this Congress. They reached a deal that gives the Republicans nothing, which I suppose is some form of punishment for pulling this crap, but the American people are still screwed over no matter whose fault it is. The global economy teetered because this brinkmanship and jackassery has shaken everyone's confidence that the United States can act like it's led by a pack of adults instead of a pack of feral children.

Ugh. Stayed up too late last night chattering. With the predictable result that I didn't get as much exercise in as I wanted, and so ugh. Still. Tonight should be a fun night of TV and relaxing.

More Nerd Girls today, more coda, that's all I can think of at the moment. Mostly I need to get Nerd Girls churning. Fortunately the outgoing seems to have slowed again, and the incoming is generally easy. I just need to actually get my butt in gear for it. I've hit that stage where every project either seems too large or I don't have enough time or what have you. I need to just sit down or get moving as the project demands, and go for at least an hour until I run out of momentum there. And, you know, make time for breaks. Always make time to sit and enjoy doing nothing. No one likes a fit of activity overload.
