Серена смотрела через её стакан искаженый вид на её маникюрый газон. Кирилл говорил иронично, она думала, когда он применял притяжательное. Много время работа других людей строли это сад, олицетворение ландшафт дворца. Она только выбрала цвет и жвертвовала деньги. И всё будет исчезать зимой.
-- Спасибо. Я платила много искусным работникам для его. -Она сказала с ублыком.
Он улыбался взамен, но это было солнце за облакой и совсем не было утешение которое она надеялась.
-- Ты не [go back find this word] меня, потому что ты был в соседство, да?
-- Нет.
Кирилл тянул близкий стул и садился. -- Хочу дискутровать Люси.
Она клала её стакан на стол острожно. -- Что о Люси?
-- Ты знаешь... что, нас натуры... проялвляются. -Он гримасничал, бранился на несколько языках, что она не понимала. Она только знала, что он бранился, потому что эти были несколько его любимые ругательства. --Что ты помнишь о начале, когда ты соображала ты была особая?
Серена откинулась на стул, обиженная и устала. -- Почему ты спросишь мне это? Сейчас? После такого вступления? Ты знаешь какие мы были тогда.
-- Я говорю это всерьёз, Серена. Пожалуйста.
Облака ползёли по солнцу, но она не думала любой из их продвинулися подчинять погоду на своей воле. Всё равно, было соответствующий и своевременный дрожь по их спине.
-- Я была... шестнадцать? Семнадцать? Встречала с этим мальчиком. Были в его доме и просматривали наши университета документы. Его отец проявлял интерес к моему выбору.
Ей не доставляло удовольствие говорить об этах сутах. Не был очень ужасающий или скандальный или новый, не очень позорный насчёт что она делала. Но она была очень слишком молодая и боялся, и она была счастлива, что она переносила.
Кирилл не подталкивал, а взял её за руки.
-- И он сделал тебе предложение.
Серена кивала, сделала глубокий вздох. -- Он сделал мне предложение. Было более деньги, чем я могла зарабатывать иначе. И было высшее образование, и он не был дурной человек. Только немного самотный. И тоже я думала было мудрость в идее. Возможность.
Она выпрямлялась, тащила её руки из его. -- Почему ты спросишь мне это? Есть кто-то...?
-- Нет! Кирилл покачал головой. -- Нет, не это. Ты была шестнадцать или семнадцать, да? А я был двадцать.
-- Ты был в университете... Она вспоминала. Его первое год, тоже. Конечно это беспокоил его. Она знала, сейчас, потому что он не говорил об этах сутках, никогда. Не с её больше. Она думала, что он бы рассказал Уилл по крайней мере один раз.
-- И Люси... Есть ничто. Если не она говорила с тобой об этом.

I do, however, maybe tomorrow, need to go back to grabbing some Russian books off Gutenberg or Night Watch off that one website that had it actually in Russian. I'd say today but I'm trying to chunk out G&M today so I'm not doing it all last minute again, and also I'm fucking exhausted. I've been fighting poached egg eyes all day and moving very, very slowly.

That said, I am making myself do Russian today instead of blowing it off because I'm too tired and I'll make mistakes. I actually, it turns out, haven't been making that many mistakes when I'm exhausted, which may mean this is getting easier. Probably does. So now I get to look back on this for double positive effect that yes, I did make myself do something when I thought I was too tired to do it, and yes, it turned out pretty good. And it wasn't as difficult as I thought. German today, too, except German today is going to be curling up with a book and reading in German because I don't have the energy to do much else. It's so much easier to go from new to native language than the other way around.

As far as my tomato fears go, I think I'm just going to go under the assumption that I'm not watering them enough, because that is a lot of goddamn plants competing for attention, and so in addition to hose watering I'm going to just dump a couple pitchers HEY ANNA. Or I could be smart about this. Hey Anna, 16 living tomato plants, how many pitchers of water do I need to dump on them? (I can't translate pitchers of water into minutes with the hose very well, but I can fill the goddamn pitchers and just dump them on the plants. PROBLEM SOLVED.) And then if that doesn't work and tossing in some compost doesn't work, then I start eyeballing for rot or pests or something. So we'll try that.

And I also need to haul the chicken wire out and put the goddamn cucumber plants on a trellis ARGH. The next time the boy starts sleeping 10 hours at a time I think I'm just going to go jump on him till he hauls his dumb ass out of bed and does some household chores. I realize I need a stupidly (relatively) small amount of sleep, and he works third shift, but COME ON. That said, chickenwiring a trellish shouldn't be that hard. I think. I think I'm going to go home and have a nap before I do that. Or much of anything. Okay, order of operations, home, NAP. Chickenwire trellis. Chicken on stove for dinner. Person of Interest while edits happen on G&M (hopefully), drop out around 9 or 10, edit G&M. That way some progress is made on all of those things and I don't go batshit. More batshit.

I really hope I get more sleep tonight than I did last night. I keep forgetting that with great gardening comes great allergies. Fucking plants. Literally.

Depends on a LOT of things: overall humidity, how big the plants are, variety of tomato, etc. BUT. At the height of summer when it was middle of the drought and the plants were most of the way grown and looking to sprout, I was averaging about 1.3 pitchers of water PER PLANT. And that was for cherry tomatoes. My current tomato plants are in the 9-12" range and on the rare fucking day when it doesn't dump buckets of rain on them I'm using about 1/3 to 1/2 pitcher per plant.

And I just woke up, so you get to do the math now. These are the classic bitty watering cans like, oh... this. If that helps.

...also you may end up needing slightly more (?) water because you don't have pots, you have ground.

Ye-ah, I probably need to just dump pitchers on my plants, then. I have no idea how long it would take me to get that kind of water on the plants with the hose, but probably longer than I've been spending. At least in the mornings. Afternoon I can do my rain dance with the hose or something.

Bear in mind that I also only water once a day, though when it gets hot and dry (if it ever does) I'll probably be upping that to twice a day for woe my poor plants. Right now I would like to shove some of this rain over your way so my poor babies don't DROWN. Dear lord.

INDEED. We used to be having a lot more rain than this, but the past few days there hasn't been. Which actually probably explains why they were doing fine until a few days ago. *facetable*

So, three out of the four corrections are coordination. Which is a pain in the ass. (And I'm leaving two of them to do yourself. So you don't feel bad that I'm doing your work for you!)

That trips people up in English all the time, even native speakers, I don't know why I'm surprised. Though I don't suppose I am much surprised. Ah well.

... No, thinking about it, I am surprised at myself for the verb, I'm usually much more careful about verbs.

IT IS THE BANE OF EVERYONE'S EXISTENCE.

In the gendered languages, it's the gender/number agreement. In English for me, it was the tenses agreement ("I'm here," he said, to He said he was (t)here.)

Grammar is a pain. But it is a thing to conquer. Marathon-style.
