Is é an tslí is fearr chun:
1. focail a fhoghlaim ná ... bheith ag léamh.
2. líofacht a fháil ná ... bheith ag éisteach le téipeanna.
3. Gaeilge a fhoglaim ná bheith ag caint.
4. Gaeilge a chloisint ná ... dul to dtí an Ghaeltacht.

The annoying thing is all of these are to an extent interchangeable for me.

1. Nuair a bhíonn tuirse orm sa tráthnóna, bíonn orm ... dul a chodladh go luath.
2. Nuair a bhíonn tinneas fiacaile orm, bíonn orm ... dul go dtí an fiaclóir.
3. Nuair a bhíonn a lán oibre le déanamh agam, bíonn orm ... fanacht san oifig déanach.
4. Nuair nach mbíonn pingin agam, bíonn orm ... iasacht airgid a fháil.
5. Nuair a bhíonn deacrachtaí agam leis an rhíomhaire, bíonn orm ... cabair a fháil.

Well, last night was at first exhausting and then full of energy. So I got dishes from dinner done, litter scooped and out the door, laundry folded, kitchen surfaces cleaned up, dishes in the dishwasher started, bathroom picked up, things that have been lurking in corners put away where they should go, extra dinner made... Blogwork done, of course. I got a lot done, I was surprised at myself considering around dinnertime I was half passed out on the couch. Go figure. I think letting myself be fully passed out for 20 minutes helped.

And Tuesday's Grimm is out! I think this is at least as much to do with less metaplot and more silly Monster of the week stuff as it is to do with the fact that we're getting quicker and better at it. Next up, Person of Interest this weekend, ulp. It's an overarching/metaplot episode, too, so that ought to be fun and take some time. Which, at least, I have already blocked out for it, so there's that. I'm juggling enough things that I had to pretty much schedule time all over the weekend for each project. Dyaugh. I can't wait till at least some of these are done.

So, today's projects: working on some more of Gods and Monsters this morning (first part... issue? dropped yesterday! Woo!) and in the afternoon, White Lightning and Blood in the Gutters edits. Sandborn in the evening, short stories in between all of those as I have time during the day and in the evening. I actually don't seem to have scheduled my evening much, which, yay! Maybe I can have a rest, then. And that's pretty much it since most of what I have appears to be long term projects. For the moment. I also want to get back to work on my Suil A Ruin modern day fairy tale story, and another one based on The Two Sisters/The Bonny Swans that takes place in the modern day and involves guitar picks made of bone. What. Whaaaaat.

Oh, and my Geek Chic cosmetics Game of Thrones set came yesterday! With a sample of Madness from their Cthulhu type line. I haven't tried them yet, though, last night was at first too sleepy and then too frantic. This weekend. Looking forward to continuing my experiments in makeup. I never actually thought I'd say that, either, but it should be fun.

Oh, hey, there's the energy back again. TALLY HO.

ETA: ... Well, two ETAs really. The first, is there some knitting trick, knitting folks on my flist, to making the thumb on a pair of gloves or arm-warmers that I'm not getting? Right now I'm adding a couple stitches on either side to the thumb itself, but I'm not at all sanguine that that's going to work to close the gap between thumb and fingers and I'm not sure how to work this. Next stop, of course, is the bookshelf at work, so it's not like I'm flailing about frantically. Just annoyed.

Second ETA is I have my first rejection letter after a long hiatus. Yay? I'm still waiting for the crash, though. I hope it's not a horrible one because this initial response is more of a very tiny sad/wistful "well, damn" and... not nearly as strong as I expected.
