kittydesadeNo Russian today, just German. And translating for the web page again at that, although at some point I should get back to lists of phrases and things for emergency situations. Some things "What's your name? Do you have any family here?" are easy, and some things like names of drugs or things, not so much.
Nothing horrible happened today! I almost can't believe it's an amazing thing to say, but after the past couple of weeks, nothing horrible has happened. Some good things even happened! An active NBA player came out as gay, which is a very brave thing to do considering the world of professional sports. His name was all over my Twitter feed today, but I don't remember it, and I'm confusing it with his twin who is also a J Collins. But you probably know who I mean. Go him!
I have the beginnings of a pounding headache thanks to this being Warg Week (which has replaced Shark Week, as the great whites have been replaced by nurse sharks) but I actually don't feel as bad as I expected. Probably due in no small part to shit not flying today as it did all the past fortnight. I finished edits and submitted the other Fireside story, worked some on White Lightning, and have a nice evening of chicken alfredo from scratch and more White Lightning and some blogging planned, and... really, I actually feel a lot calmer about my writing in general, and not as stressed or freaked out as this morning. So. Yay!
