The shitkicking Acadians have stopped singing the one song and switched to a different one in my head. Yay?
Today's statement of intent involves mostly writing: finish the LSQ submission which is almost done if my characters will just start talking about their sex lives. Draft two shorts for Fireside, and do one scene in Twisted Thread to patch over some of the bigass gaping holes in the narrative. Also another 30-40 of translation and I need to look over German, as well, everyone smack me if I don't. So, all in all, not bad. And I even started in on Person of Interest last night, and might get to do some tonight.
Of course, tonight is New Grimm Night, which means after 10pm I will pretty much be useless for anything except going AUGH at irregular intervals. I really, really hope the cure for the love potion was completed off screen because it seems like everyone's getting sick of the love potion plot. And to be fair, they did take steps towards fixing it last episode. And if we're lucky it'll be completed this episode! Otherwise I will feel like punching people and it will be reflected in the blog. And then we will all be sad.
At some point I will make the boy buy me the yarn to remake the scarves he ruined, maybe this weekend. Currently I am working on a) getting some things off of needles because dear god I have four projects on needles right now, yes? Yeah, four. And remaking his armwarmers which he also shrunk. This time out of superwash so he can throw them in the damn washer all he wants and he won't ruin them. Because I learn. Now if only I could teach him to quit throwing knitted shit in the washer and just ask me if it's safe to go in. That way at least if I forget it's not superwash, it's my own dumb fault and I don't have to hide his body under the house.
And no wrist pain today! Which still means I better not overdo it, but yay starting off the day not in pain. I like this.
