kittydesadeWell. For today's German practice, I made myself a home page in fucking German. Now I just have to do it in French and Spanish, and then I'll be all set to give myself conniptions about how many languages that, yes, I functionally know. Mostly functionally know. I really, really need to get to the point where my grasp of German and even French, to an extent, is more conversational and less textbook. Then again, my speech online tends to be faintly textbook English, too? More textbook than a lot of people, anyway.
For Russian, not so much progress made. I discovered that I cannot, in fact, code in Russian on UltraEdit, which probably means that trying to just paste Russian language into a field and have it appear on a website is not the best way to go about things. ...
Or not. Or I could just beat up the internets for its information and then it figures it out for me. I love the internets.
Right. That makes today's Russian practice translating my home page into Russian, and possibly a little more if I feel up to it. More line edits probably after UPS goes, but until then, packing and website fuckery! That sounds about my speed for the day.
