Cuir an comhrá seo san ord ceart. Put the jumbled dialogue in the right order:

Ba mhaith, go raibh maith agat. / Ar mhaith leat siúcra? / Níor mhaith, go raibh maith agat. / Ar mhaith leat cupán caifé?
-- Ar mhaith leat cupán caifé? Ba mhaith, go raibh maith agat. Ar mhaith leat siúcra? Níor mhaith, go raibh maith agat.

Ar mhaith leat gloine fíona? Would you like a glass of wine?
Ba mhaith, le do thoil. I would, please.
Seo dhuit.
Go raibh maith agat.

Ar mhaith leat anraith? Would you like some soup?
Níor mhaith, go raibh maith agat. No, thank you. (I would not like, thank you.)
Maith go leor.

An mbeidh píosa aráin agat? Will you have a piece of bread?
Beidh, go raibh maith agat. Yes/I will, thank you.

Ar mhaith leat tuilleadh sicín? Would you like more chicken?
Ba mhaith, cinnte. Tá sé go deas. Yes, certainly. It's very nice.

Irish would be so much more easier if they'd give a full, proper glossary at the back of the book. Just saying.

I have discovered that the warm weather I was promised for the next week is actually a lie. ... Or possibly that that cold front I was told of about an hour ago is a lie. Whatever, I would like a warm front now, please and thank you. It's heading towards the end of February, I don't think that's too much to ask for? A little taste of springtime before the inevitable brief March cold snap?

We did make it out to Knoxville and spent an only slightly obscene amount of money at the used bookstore there, at which point I picked up a couple of books to see if I would like them (Marie Brennan and Marjorie Lieu, and I think one other thing by Melanie Rawn/Jennifer Roberson/Kate Elliott) and most of the Tiger and Del series, which I loved. And Brian Froud's Good Fairies/Bad Fairies and a couple of Freakangels I didn't have and absolutely no Wild Cards books, because they weren't there. Grump. Nor any of the Latin/Greek/Egyptian books I was looking for, though I can't say that entirely surprises me and as full up as my languages are, it's probably better that way.

Right. Today's statement of intent: read over and then finish up the text of the WYAH: Audrey's apartment post, with caps and posting to follow in the evening. Then line edits alternating with coding, with at least two scenes to be done today because otherwise I will get completely distracted with coding and nothing will get done. Nothing of editing got done all weekend anyway because I was mainlining the Matthew Swift series. Which is an awesome series, if a bit hard on the brainpan. Between the protagonist who can't decide if he's singular or plural and the nature of magic-is-in-every-crack-and-corner-if-you-know-where-to-look urban fantasy, it led to some very peculiar states of mind afterwards. Followed by mainlining Freakangels, so that went well. Still, line edits today, and coding, and then the rest of the week the blogwork should be ... mmm. The next WYAHs and what PoI needs to be worked in there, but neither of those is that bad. Woo!

Adopt one today! Adopt one today! Adopt one today!
